Too Much and Not Enough

I have too much to do and not enough time to do it in!

We're leaving this Friday and our trip has gone from 9 days to 14. I have to pack for myself and two little people, do laundry, buy a few odds and ends that we need, vaccuum, sweep, and mop my floors (ugh), and I have an appointment on Thursday. Yay.

I am afraid that I won't lose this time around. I don't know why. I've been doing everything right. Working out -- even more than usual, really, because I can take longer walks thanks to our b-e-a-utiful weather. Staying within my points range. Drinking water and not eating after 6:00. But, I dunno, I'm just having a fat week. I'm afraid that if I don't lose this week then I will lose any motivation over the next two weeks. It's going to be hard enough to lose anyway since I'll mostly be depending on other people for my meals. But, I'm afraid if I don't see a loss on the scales this time around then I'll be ready to throw my hands up in the air and have a funnel cake or five at one of the fairs we're going to.

Yes, I said fairs. We're going to a fair very close to my hometown Saturday afternoon. I'm excited to take my boys since I loved it so much as a child. The following Saturday (when I wish I'd be in Austin watching my Hogs play the Longhorns), we're going to the fair in Memphis. Fried food is my downfall. Deep fry a turd and I'd probably eat it. Sigh. Lead me not into temptation . . .

Two weeks away means it's going to be that much harder to meet my goal that I had set to lose by my Jaybird's birthday (October 10th). I still have six to go to meet that goal. If I lose two this week, one each while I'm away, and then two more the week I'm back, I'll have met it. Please, oh please, oh please!
